Our Little Man,

Little Caitie taking her picture next to The Little Man.  He was patriotic, held flags, and loved Christmas.  He used to wear a Santa hat.  We miss him very much.  Because we missed him very much, our daughter and son bought their dad a 2nd jockey they found on ebay for Father's Day.  So to see that someone tried to rip him off barely 3 months after he got it, is very sad!
Why the blog, well last year someone stole from us too.  They took our first lawn jockey ( named the "Little Man") by nieces.  He was very special to us.  My husband had to re-paint him and repair his arm.  I was proud that he could fix it back up.  His mom, who has since passed, got a real kick out of the lawn jockey.

He stood outside our old home and adorned our new home for maybe 5 years..  My aunt thought he made our garden look elegant.  He was a measuring stick for all the little ones.  Only the youngest, couldn't use him because he was gone.

Did a police report, but I don't think they take lawn thefts very seriously.  It had been a busy day before he was stolen. The neighbors had a yard sale, many people in the area.   Someone even inquired, if he was for sale, their husband always wanted one of those.   Note:  Really pay attention to license plates of nosy people, everyone is suspect.  The nieces were over, so my dogs who are old, were very tired, you could say dog-tired.  They did not hear anything.  Whoever took " The Little Man" picked it straight up, no foot prints, etc.  So one very strong person or a team.   Well, we were heartbroken, so next I'm posting his picture.  If you see one, notice the arm repair, he could be ours.

My husband tried to seal the outer edges of the cement before winter sets in.  It 's not broken all the way but all most.  The chain won't protect it much, but it's better than nothing.

The night after our things were missing, my husband found his 2nd lawn jockey tipped over, damage to the legs which you'll be able to see in the next picture.  so I guess he weighed too much to carry and they resorted in snatching the smaller things.

He's small, not very big but there were 2 ghosts.  This little guy got grabbed on the same day as the fairy house and angel.  The only consolation is that there was a spider that lived inside of it, so hopefully it didn't like its new home and bit who ever snatched it.

Our little fairy house.  My nieces were very upset that someone "stole" this.  They loved the fairy house and liked to peek in the windows and imagine what the fairy had inside.

My little angel, the orb, changes colors, it's solar powered.  It wasn't very expensive but it's the point that someone snatched it out of my yard.
